DDA day 19, 20 and 21

We've been enjoying the snow over here, so I haven't had much time to put my pages on the net...

Day 19..

Today Max, my dad and myself went to a children's theater show from a dutch tv series called huis Anubis. It was a wonderful and scary show..
Today's page was an envelope so perfect to keep the tickets and journaling in..






Day 20..
Today was snow..snow...snow.. and more snow... We only left the house to throw a snowball, make snowangels and sled... (and take pictures..)

Day 21..
Miracles do happen around christmas time.... finally at 3,5 years my youngest started using the bathroom...It's early days but it looks promissing!







Now I'm off to do some baking with the boys!

DDA day 17 and 18

Day 17....
The oldest boys celebrated christmas at school.
All the classes performed at church and then they walked through town with lights to school and they had their dinners in their classes.

I decided to use a picture of Wouter and his class performing in church..





Yesterday, Thomas celebrated x-mas at school, he played a little angel (not very convincing!!)
In the afternoon, we made a fire outside and roasted marshmellows..





Time is flying!!!! I'm more than half way done now!!

Off to the Theatre with my oldest, to see a show..

DDA day 15 and 16

I'm on a role....

Day 15... Thomas loves the garden center (Intratuin) especially around christmas time...





Day 16
On Ali Edwards blog I saw a page with christmas decorations...

On the front of the page I put a picture of the latest ornament bought in Euro Disney (in 30 degrees) this summer... On the secondpage a few shots of the balls, tree, santa etc..





So I have the rest of the day off...to play with the kids.....

DDA Day 12, 13 and 14

Bussy, bussy, bussy.. So I'll get on with it....

Day 10 and 11

On day ten I was out with a migraine, so I made a page for the boys with little tagnotes inside the envelope... I love this picture of the boys acting goofy and having fun!







Day eleven was the day of Anne's wedding (and Gideon and Savannah).. I love the pictures on the back of day 11.. We're doing our best to do a pretty pose, but we end up, laughing our heads of!







Ok Working on day 12 and 13 tonight and I will try to take the pictures tomorrow...
It's a BIG commitment, this DDA and it does take up a lot of time, but it'll be fun in a few years to have this journal...

DDA day 8 and 9

I just had a three day migraine.... needless to say... I was a bit behind on my DDA... I will finish yesterday tomorrow... (I hope..)

But here are day 8 and 9..

Day 8 is about the teachers pressents I make each year for x-mas. This year I was inspired by the new book Scrapcards and gifts.. I loved the idea and made it Christmassy (is that even a real word???)






Day 9..

I love wintermornings, it's cold and dark outside... Unfortunately most mornings we have to hurry up and go to school, but in the weekends and vacation...it's snuggle time!





On to day 4, 10 and 11 Yikes!

DDA day six and seven

Ok.. here's my two day up-date from my DDA...

So far I love working on it....

Day 6..
I have had the prima overlay for a long time now, I thought that it would fit the trimming the tree pics perfectly... I have one picture of each, hanging an ornament. And on the backside a rare moment... three boys in one picture and no one is crying!






Day 7...
That's today...
Our christmas card from this year.. We've been sending these for as long as I can remember... I think it's fun for everybody to see how the kids are growing up...

Page two...Having coffee with the girls has becomne a tradition by now.. every two months we get together and catch up... I made a little tag that fit's under the picture...

DDA day 5

DDA day four will have to wait untill I get the pictures of that day from school..

So onwards and upwards to day 5!

We celebrated Sinterklaas last night... I had a ton of pictures and such a small page to fit them all on...(or a selection)..

so I decided to make a little mini book on my page... I put pictures in the front and journaling on tha backside...

Here's how it came out...

DDA day 3

Day three is a clear page (i'm not sure if you can see from the picture..) I placed 6 pictures 3 on each page, of little normal moments during the day...

I then made the tag "remember the moments" and added another stamp and stickles...






Day 4 may take a while as I have to wait to get pictures from school...

DDA day one and two

Yeay!!! Time to play with my DDA.

I just finished day two... I had something completely different in mind for day two, but due to a wonderful migraine, I had to change it up a bit. I decided ahead of time that I wasn't going to make it too difficult for my self, otherwise there's no way I'll keep it up untill the 31st!

Day one, page one... Here in Holland we celebrate Sinterklaas aswell as X-mas, these are pictures of the boys getting pressents in their shoes. They have to sing a song before bedtime and they awake to a pressent or candy in their shoe...




Day one page two... Every year we take a family picture that we use as our christmas card..'With three (read 4 ) boys, it's getting harder every year to get a decent picture.. This was our first try... it's not "the one" but it's the only one that the little one is not crying on..



Page two... I took this picture of Marcel and Thomas, I think it's such a sweet picture of the two of them.. The other side of this page will be finished when I get some pictures from school...



Just simple things from our daily december life!
